CLIMATE-RELATED SCENARIO ANALYSIS

Clearer Strategy for an Uncertain Climate

Climate change is reshaping the risk and opportunity landscape for corporations worldwide. Regulators and investors are responding, and major frameworks including the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Australia's Sustainability Reporting Standard (AASB S2), and the ISSB's IFRS S2 Climate-Related Disclosures now require, or are moving toward requiring, formal climate-related scenario analysis as part of corporate disclosure obligations. These frameworks build on the foundational principles established by the now-disbanded Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), which remains a useful reference point.

We help organizations meet that challenge through tailored climate-related scenario analysis engagements. Working closely with your leadership team, we help you identify climate-related risks and opportunities across a range of plausible futures, develop adaptable strategies, and build the documentation needed to support your disclosure obligations.

Each engagement is scoped to your organization's specific needs, timeline, and planning context. Depending on your situation, this can include tabletop exercises to stress-test current plans against scenarios, risk and opportunity analysis for specific decisions, or integration with your existing strategic planning processes. Scope, format, and session structure are defined collaboratively before we begin.
